Industrial and mechanical design should be a part of the development process from start to finish. This work method helps reach a creative solution both in the industrial as well as in the mechanical design, improving the outcome and simplifying the process of reaching a complete and successful product design.
A2Z design provides a full turnkey solution to its customers, from concept to full mass production. Our team has years of experience in all the stages of product development, and partners in various fields that can support all the stages, from design research up to mass production. A2Z has proven experience in projects with various production volumes, starting from small quantities and up to millions of units a year.
PRODUCT DESIGN
In A2Z we see the industrial design as a practice that can contribute to all phases of the product development, from the initial definitions and up to the last minor changes forced by the detailed design. That's why we believe that every industrial designer should have good engineering skills, and every engineer should understand industrial design. This overlap of knowledge is important for the flow of the design process and results in better products that are more faithful to the customer needs and meet the project targets.
ENGINEERING
A2Z has vast mechanical design experience in different fields that are relevant for high tech products, and can deliver products of high complexity requiring multiple production technologies.
Our engineering team is flexible enough to lead the complete design by itself or to be a part of an existing team and provide specific roles in the project.
MANUFACTURING
A2Z has the ability to manage production of complex products, including parts injection, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, packaging and delivery. We have experience with yearly mass production of up to several million unit.
A2Z can work with the customer's manufacturers or utilize its own manufacturers and assembly factories.
The A2Z team has special experience in production jigs, and we are able to design and manufacture all complementary machinery for the production and final test stages.
3D PRINTING & MODEL MAKING
We have the ability to provide models in all levels of complexity and finish for presentation, verification, and certification. Models can be produced in single units or low quantity production series, including finishes that will be similar to a final product. Among our modeling technologies are: CNC of metal and plastics, vacuum casting of hard and soft materials, and 3D printing in a variety of technologies including fast in house models for the design process.
COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
A2Z also provides complementary services to the product development process. By working closely with our partners we provide services such as graphic design and branding for products and company identity as well as patent research and registration.

Ziv Goldin
CEO
Ziv had started his professional way in Motorola R&D developing RF system and following products from its birth through development and certification to mass production, 3 years later he went to study industrial design in HIT.
Ziv worked with big technological companies since he was a student contributing to projects in the aviation medical and communication fields.
After graduation Ziv was hired by VeriFone and served as the company industrial designer, and had the opportunity to design a big variety of mass production products.
In 2013 Ziv has founded A2Zdesign that focuses on the combination of product design and engineering.

Team carting championship
Fun and work must go together, and this time we have decided to have a day on the track, A2Z-DESIGN team raced against the clock, this time not in project delivery time but in carting cars.
One thing we can say for sure by the sweat on our t shirts, carting is definitely a sport.

A2Z-DESIGN is always happy to make a social impact and participate in events for the community, we had a lot of fun in the Kite-pride Make-a-tone and had a chance to develop cool products for a good cause.
90degrees at the surfing world championship
Our own designed “Tortuga” surf board stand is starring these days next to the winners podium in the surfing world championship in Natania.
Volunteering work
As a part of our activity for the community, we have volunteered to help the Unistream association, that helps high school students from the periphery to learn entrepreneurship. The group of students that we have helped wanted to create a beverage bottle that can be cooled instantly by gas pressure release. A2Z-DESIGN had built a functional model with a proper ID that managed to even surprise us by reaching a minimum peak temperature of -54 degrees Celsius, creating some dry ice in the process. Eventually, the project had won the 2nd place in the national competition.
We are very proud of the kids that came to us with such an original idea and feel very blessed to have this chance in making it true for them.

A2Z-DESIGN is now ISO 9001 certified
Since the birth of A2Z-DESIGN, we have used quality and management methods that we have learned in big corporations. It's only natural for us to take the next step and get a formal certification of what we have always done. Now that we have a formal ISO certification we know that our methods are also approved by external reviewers, to ensure the development quality for ourselves and for our customers.
Who said that a jig must be ugly?
Smart simple and beautiful are 3 elements that can live together without compromise on any one of them.
Meet your goal with more re-use of components less parts and more double functions for the systems modules. And if you do it right there is no reason that the end result will not look good.

The power of simplicity
As a designer you always have to find clever solutions. Usually this demands time focus concentration and hard work to find the simplest and most clever solution. A "how didn't I think of it first" kind of design. But sometime it also happens fast, and everything falls simply and elegantly into place. This silicon cover needed to protect the product, give a good grip, allow air flow for some heat to get out, and of course look appealing. It took only 3 features in Solid-works to make this texture and it was clear this is it.
Model making abilities
Since A2Z-DESIGN had started to produce 3D printed parts to customers this section of our activity has grown rapidly. We found ourselves producing plastic and metal models in small and medium quantities for a growing number of customers. Today we can supply models of all kinds with the highest quality and a very competitive price. In the photo: a lab equipment model designed and produced by us.
Ambudrone concept
Just having some fun we have designed a concept of an autonomous drone based stretcher.
This can come as a quick evacuation solutions for military or civilian situations, landing a stretcher near the injured person and lifting him without delay to the closest hospital.
Current technology can support a solution like that, and we are sure that someone will accept the challenge and make this a reality.
For now… we are just happy to put our imagination to a good use.
Touche medical infusion patch pump takes another step forward
Today Touche-medical took another step towards our goal of developing the most effective patch pump in the market.
Touche-medicals patent in the USA was granted joining our China granted patent, and European pending patent.
A2Z-SKI
A big part of our vision to create a tight design team that works together as an elite unit, for that we organize special extreme days for the team.
This winter we decided to make it in the form of a ski vacation with families in the Hermon ski site.
Some of us already know how to ski, others learned for the first time.
Inside a designers head
A common question that customers raise is "how will I know your design will fit my taste?"
The first and most important factor that should deal with this concern is the fact that the design is made for the customer and not for the designer.
A professional designer should know how to design a product in any style that the customer desires, and most importantly know to follow the design language of the field, heavy machinery will always have a different styling from a beauty product.
With all this said, since design is a more emotional part in the development process then others, maybe a bit more is needed to help reassure people they have made the right choice.
That's why I decided to expose my personal pinterest account, this way anyone can see what I find beautiful.

3D Printing Services
A2Z-DESIGN is proud to present a new service:
For long time we have used outsource modeling services, since then we have acquired an FDM 3D printer for our internal use for concept models and basic design verification.
Today when we feel that we have good experience and results that exceeded our expectations we decided to offer 3D printing as a complementary service.
Our equipment provides FDM printing up 0.1mm accuracy with a variety of materials, PLA ABS PVA HIPS TPE, in multiple colors including dual material and dual colors.
Models size is up to - 210mm x 297mm x 210mm
A2Z-DESIGN Philosophy
A few weeks ago we where informed that A2Z-DESIGN is one of 4 finalists in it's category in the entrepreneur of the year competition at Keren Shemesh Foundation. As part of the presentation about the office we have made a visual summery of our philosophy. So here it is: We operate by corporate methods we are familiar with and make them more responsive with our start up spirit. And parallel to that, we are combining industrial design and engineering through all the stages of the project, to get a mature product in a shorter time table.

Press-Q is an epinephrine auto injector that was designed to be the best device in the market and set the standard for human interface in the field of allergies.
A2Z-DESIGN had the challenge to design a new device that focuses on usability and functionality. Furthermore, the main issue was to merge all the components to fit the smaller size possible to suit the user’s pocket.
Combining mechanical limitations such as manufacturability, material, and cost, we developed a product that perfectly fulfills the job.
